Spiral Bevel Gear Products

Choose the product family from the way the component must be manufactured, mounted and inspected. Exact geometry remains configuration-specific, so each product page explains what belongs in the RFQ instead of pretending that one standard size fits every assembly.

Product families

The live catalogue is organized around six practical buying tasks: new custom pairs, ground tooth sets, miter arrangements, integrated pinion shafts, heavy-duty pairs and replacement work.

Start with the pair geometry before comparing manufacturing routes

Spiral bevel gears operate as a mating system. A useful product choice therefore begins with the ratio or tooth counts, right- and left-hand relationship, shaft angle, mounting distance and the interfaces that locate the pair in the housing. The same outside diameter can appear on gears that are not interchangeable.

For a new design, the controlled drawing should show both members or clearly reference the mate. For a replacement, the mating gear and housing measurements are often as important as the worn part itself.

Which product family should you open first?

Buying situation Best starting page What usually decides the quote
New geometry or controlled production drawing Custom Spiral Bevel Gear Set Complete pair definition, interfaces, material route and inspection scope
Ground tooth finish is specified Ground Spiral Bevel Gear Set Heat treatment, grinding datums, quality requirement and final inspection
Approximately 1:1 direction change Spiral Miter Gear Set Equal tooth count, shaft angle, hand, mounting position and backlash
Pinion is integrated with a shaft Spiral Bevel Pinion Shaft Bearing journals, shoulders, shaft features, heat treatment and gear datum relationship
High load or shock is a key concern Heavy-Duty Spiral Bevel Gear Pair Load spectrum, support stiffness, material/heat treatment and inspection
Existing set is worn or obsolete Replacement Spiral Bevel Gear Set Pair identification, sample condition, housing datums and original acceptance data

A product drawing should connect tooth data to the actual assembly

The tooth system cannot be reviewed in isolation from the surfaces that position it. Bore, spline, shaft shoulders, bearing journals, flange faces and housing references determine where the gear sits. If backlash or contact is controlled in the machine, show which datum establishes that position.

This is also why a replacement RFQ should not be reduced to “same OD and same number of teeth.” Those two values do not identify the entire mating relationship.

Applications that commonly drive the selection

The same basic gear form can be used in very different machines. Application duty changes the questions that need to be answered about reversals, shock, support stiffness, positioning sensitivity, environment and inspection.

Build the RFQ around the information that can change price or manufacturability

Send the drawing revision, pair identity, quantity, material and heat-treatment requirements, tooth finish, critical tolerances and the inspection records required with the order. Add the operating context when it affects the design or process route. Unknown items should be marked for review rather than filled with assumed “standard” values.

That approach gives purchasing and engineering the same quotation basis and makes later revisions easier to control.

Commercial planning for your RFQ

For request a quote planning, MOQ is flexible and depends on product form, processing route and overall order value. Suitable new projects may be reviewed for 1–5 sample pieces at sample pricing. Different models can be combined when the order total reaches about USD 1,500. Orders of 1–2 pieces can also be considered, usually at a higher unit cost because setup and inspection are spread across a very small quantity.

For request a quote delivery planning, typical windows are 10–25 working days for standard parts, 20–45 working days for customized components and 45–120 working days for project-type equipment or assemblies. EXW, FOB, CIF and DAP are commonly supported; FCA, CFR, CPT, CIP and DDP can be discussed for the specific shipment and destination.

Fiyat teklifi isteyin
